We have acted for a lot of start up situations. We hold a first meeting for £50 +VAT, which is deducted from your first year fees. Effectively this means that the first meeting is free if you become a continueing client.
During the first meeting we will discuss the basic implications of tax, national insurance and VAT as they apply to your new business.
Most people try and do their own VAT and payroll at the start, but as the business grows and the paper mountain from the Inland Revenue rises people ask us to do their VAT returns and PAYE on their behalf.
